Read more on user groups and access rights.

Search projects

By default, the results list shows projects for which you are the author or a coordinator, or for which you or your division have assignments. As IATE is a collaborative tool, you can even consult other institutions’ projects (with the exception of those labelled as ‘confidential’) via the ‘Search in’ filter.

Click on the ‘Open expanded search’ button to display more filters and refine your search.
Click on a project name to open the project details.
Customise your table

The results table can be manually configured via the ‘Choose and sort columns’ icon. On the left, there is a list of all the columns that can be added to it. To display a column in your table, drag and drop it into the right-hand box.

The table can even be pre-configured in your user preferences (under Terminology projects > Search (Projects)). Default presets have been defined based on your user role but some institutions also provide their own customised view. Once you have finished setting your preferences, do not forget to save your changes. Then, click on the ‘Apply my user preferences’ button in the ‘Projects’ tab of the TPM.

To sort the results according to their status, due date or creation date, click on the arrow next to the column header. Depending on the columns you choose to display, other sorting options may be available (e.g. in the ‘Mandatory’ column).

You can monitor project progress from this table by displaying the ‘Assignments’ and ‘Assignments per language’ columns.
Export your Project list

After running a search, you can export a list of projects (with the projects’ metadata, but not the entries they contain) in Excel format. Click on ‘Export results’ and select which metadata to export (from ‘Project info’). Exports are processed as asynchronous requests and can be retrieved from the ‘Asynchronous requests’ tab in the ‘Management’ menu.

Note that only your institutions’ projects and non-confidential projects from other institutions can be exported in this list.
