Merging (*)

The ‘Merge’ ☍ module allows users with specific rights to merge the content of two or more entries into a single one. Two options are available, depending on the type of merge needed:

  • Manual merge
  • Automatic merge

You can select the entries you want to merge in three different ways:

  • from the results page, by clicking on ‘Add to merge operation’;
  • from the full entry view, by clicking on ‘Add to merge operation’ at the bottom of the LIL, or in the contextual menu or quick edit panel;
  • from the ‘Merge’ ☍ tab in the ‘Management’ ☍ menu, by manually entering the entry IDs.
In the ‘Merge’ ☍ module, several entries can be stored for future merge operations. You can click the ‘Remove from selection’ button to remove an individual entry, or the ‘Clear’ button to remove all entries.
