The ‘User profile’ ☍ tab in IATE allows you to view and manage key information about your account.
To access your user profile, click on your username (in the top right of the screen). You will be automatically directed to the ‘User profile’ tab.
In this tab, you can view the following details:
- Username
- Name
- Institution
- Division
- Working languages: Multiple working languages may be assigned to your profile, depending on your user rights.
- Autovalidated langauges (if any)
- Role(s): You can be assigned multiple roles, which will be displayed in a list in the relevant field. You can switch roles anytime by clicking on the one you want to use.
From your user profile page, you can also log out of IATE by clicking on ‘Log off’.

User profile information is only accessible after logging in to IATE.
