Undeletion (*)

The ‘Undelete’ ☍ tab, accessible via the ‘Management’ menu, offers you the possibility to recover any deleted content if necessary.

Deleted content is sorted by deletion date and grouped by entry. This allows you to view all past deletions for a specific entry.

IATE 1 deletions (i.e. from before February 2019) have been migrated to the current version of IATE and are also available – for information only – under a second tab in the ‘Undelete’ menu.

You can filter the results by date, date range, user who performed the deletion, owner of the deleted data, entry ID, language and deletion type. ‘All deletions’ means all data deleted by any institution; ‘Interinstitutional deletions’ means all data deleted by institutions which did not own the data.

Administrators can also see and search for ‘hidden deletions’ (deletions performed in batch mode with a specific ‘hide/show’ slider).

Once you have your list of results, you can:

  • preview individual deleted levels;
  • consult their history, and
  • undelete them if needed.
Restored levels will display this icon .
