The locking mechanism prevents other users from making changes to an entry or language while it is being modified. To use it:
- right-click on the entry ID to open the contextual menu,
- click on the ‘lock entry’ button, and
- choose how long the entry should be locked.
A warning will be displayed to all users consulting the locked entry.
The entry can be manually unlocked at any time before the lock is scheduled to expire by clicking on the ‘unlock entry’ button in the contextual menu. |
